Workplace Health Education

Our team of highly trained clinical pharmacists brings a menu of preventive and chronic disease care services to your workplace. Those services include vaccinations, health risk assessments, health fairs, one-on-one counseling on medication use and behavior modification. Our screenings can identify costly, and often preventable, chronic diseases such as diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Kerr Health is a longtime provider of the risk assessment tool called “Know Your Number™.” It provides workers with a detailed report showing their specific risk levels by disease state compared to their peers as well as associated costs. It also provides feedback on modifiable risk factors that encourages participants to take a proactive approach to preventing these diseases. These reports can be done once or at regular intervals to monitor an employee’s progress.

Cardiovascular Risk Assessment

This assessment includes a full lipid panel (i.e., total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides), blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index. These measurements, along with demographic information, allow us to provide an individual with a five-year predictive risk for conditions such as coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes and stroke.

Vaccinations
